We’re delighted to offer you a memorable holiday in our charming centrally located 300 year old cottage, complete with seafront beach hut. The cottage sleeps up to 4, and arranged over 3 floors, easily accommodating couples and small families for walking, beach or retreat style breaks all year round. With Wifi, gas central heating, and bedlinen included, a stay in our cottage is unique. Paired with our beach hut ‘Valentine’s View’, you’ll be have the ingredients for many quintessential seaside holiday memories.

Valentine Cottage comes as a package with the beach hut at no extra cost. The accommodation continues to be enjoyed by guests wanting a romantic break, small families wanting to be close to the seaside, and friends wanting to enjoy walking along the amazing coastline. Located in central ‘Old Lyme’, the cottage is less than 5 minutes walk to the seafront, where there's a choice of sandy, shingle and pebble beaches, fossil hunting and the famous world heritage Jurassic coastline.

We’ve paid attention to detail throughout, and we’re sure you’ll agree the cottage is bursting with character. It has a well appointed kitchen, separate sitting room and dining room, private garden, and two bedrooms. With central heating throughout, it provides an ideal destination for a break all year round.

Beach Hut

On the seafront, you’ll find our cute beach hut ‘Valentine’s View’, where you can sit and enjoy uninterrupted views of the beach, sea and famous Cobb Harbour.  The beach hut is not available to book on its own, it comes together at no extra costs with Valentine Cottage as a package, which is a massive relief for our guests, as the Council owned beach huts are generally booked up many months or even a year ahead, making them almost impossible to access.

If you are planning to spend much time on the beach during your holiday in Lyme Regis then this is a great place to base yourself, store your things, make your picnic lunches, or take shelter from the sun. Wild swimmers love the beach hut for changing in the dry, whatever the weather outside. Or if you are planning a walking or sight seeing holiday, you might just want to nip down to the seafront for a quick tea or coffee in the beach hut and watch the sea and a little time go by. Whatever type of holiday you’re after, we leave it up to guests to get as much or as little use of it as they want during their stay.
